Now, for the giveaway, please leave a comment in this post telling me some fun Valentine traditions you have in your house. I'm excited that Valentine's Day is on a Saturday this year, so our whole family can celebrate together. I would love to hear your ideas especially involving kids. One random person will win a fabulous RAK from me! You have until Sunday 11 p.m. EST to make your post.

Good luck!

I don't have kids, but I've always thought one of my male friends from Uni's family did something that I will re-create one day when I do:

They had the men in the family (including all the kids) each draw one course out of a hat (main, desert, drinks, dishes...) and then the boys had to treat the woman for the day. The woman isn't allowed to do anything... They got points, and the winner didn't have to do anything the next celebration. I think it's such a great way of getting them involved..

(BTW this wasn't just done at valentines day, but also Xmas and new year and they were 4 boys so there was a lot men to share the work...)

one tradition i loved was sending someone on a follow the note hunt! i'd have one that says look in the fridge, then in there one would say look in coffee can etc! it was so fun!

I don't have much of a Valentine's tradition (I like jo-ann's idea though!) but the kids and I ALWAYS make, never buy, the Valentine's for their classmates. This year it was bookmarks ;)
